Our Academy Program provides high-quality enrichment classes and camps designed for students in Grades 4-6. We offer the following core programs:

Reading and Editing Class (G4-6) – Mondays 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
This class covers reading comprehension, grammar, and article revision. Taught by Ms. Joyce, a UCLA graduate with over 20 years of teaching experience, students enhance their reading and editing skills through guided practice.

Advanced Writing Class (G4-6) – Fridays 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Led by Ms. Lau, a current IUSD APAAS teacher, this class covers a variety of writing genres, including DBQ (Document-Based Questions), poetry, and personal narratives. Students learn to express themselves creatively and analytically, developing confidence and strong writing skills.

Camps

We also offer Winter and Summer Camps focusing on:

  • Writing

  • Public Speaking

  • STEM

These camps are designed to develop creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Community Workshops

In addition to our regular programs, we provide free workshops for Great Park residents, including:

  • 3D Printing

  • Writing

  • Digital Art
