Community Clubs

Great Park Neighborhoods have several clubs that join alike residents together to build community. Clubs are open to all residents that live in GPN. Below is a list of current clubs. Bengal Parents Connect Club

It is often said that it takes a village to raise a child – this club is intended to help you build and cultivate that village. We strongly believe that socializing and networking with fellow Bengal parents is a necessary (and fun) way to support our kids.

 

Cadence Park School Parent & Student Enrichment Club

The Cadence Park School’s Parent & Student Enrichment Club believes that together, we can create a strong, supportive community for parents, enriching the lives of both our children and ourselves. We plan to achieve this through a series of socials and educational series to enhance our Cadence Park School community.

Chinese Culture Club

Aiming to bridge the gap between newly arrived residents with Chinese backgrounds and life in the US. This is a club for all members of the community, whether you are a recent resident or a Southern California native.

 

Crescent Club

We look forward to becoming the hub for celebrating Islamic holidays and special occasions, including Ramadan and the Eid holidays, and to be a source of guidance on Islamic beliefs and worship.

 

Financial Markets & Investments Club

Come together to discuss topics in the areas of stock market, bonds, alternatives, retirement planning, financial planning, 401Ks, IRAs, retirement solutions for business owners, real estate investing, and many more!

Fitness³ Club

Get access to different work out equipment. Members will be able to use all of the fitness equipment stored in the Fitness Cube at The Pools Park during park hours. Work on your balance or build strength.

 

Friendly Faces Club

Focusing on improving quality of life for our GPN residents through fun events. Celebrating all cultural diversity and holiday events. This club shares resources with school, education, and so much more.

Enjoy the sharing of best practices, ideas, and recommendations to help neighbors all succeed in their careers. This club has a strict no selling policy, however, this is a great opportunity to grow your network locally.

 

GPN Maharashtra Mandal Club

Aiming to help stay connected to the Marathi roots, celebrate Maharashtrian festivals, learn the great Marathi language and Maharashtrian history.

Read new books, shares stories, discuss themes, and analyze metaphors all while meeting neighbors and making friends. Book selections will be based on a diverse selection of genres, topics, and authors.

Make friends with like-minded residents while playing the a good game of Cricket. Friendly tournaments and practices will improve your sports skills, while seminars and workshops will aim to spread knowledge of the sport.                      

 

Great Park Development Club

Do you want to be more involved in Great Park development decisions?  If so, the Great Park Development Club is for you!  We will invite you to town halls with city officials, staff, and special guests where you can learn about and give feedback.

 

Great Park Karaoke Club

Come showcase your vocal skills, release some stress, and enjoy the singing talent of your neighbors! Karaoke encourages social interaction, improves breathing and memory skills, and helps boost confidence and self-esteem.

 

Great Park Karate Club

Karate teaches self-defense, builds confidence, encourages self-discipline, and promotes a healthy body and mind. Focusing on self improvement and defense, it's particularly beneficial for kids, however adults are welcome to join as well.

 

Great Park Neighborhood Watch

The Neighborhood Watch was created by and consists of a group of concerned residents working together to improve community awareness.

 

Great Park Neighborhoods Volunteer Club

Volunteers are the heart and soul of every community, and it is this spirit of giving that inspires action and creates meaningful relationships. Proudly embrace the spirit of volunteerism and have several ways members can get involved.

Come relax and enjoy a glass of wine with friends and neighbors. Learn about the different wines from around the world. This club shares different knowledge of wine and its culture by meeting monthly and doing tastings.

Great Park Road Runners

Aiming to bring together GPN residents and runners of all ages. Speeds for a weekly group run in and around the Great Park and Sports Park. This club promotes fitness through fun runs with neighbors.

 

Great Park Social Club (GPSC)

Provide a platform for social gathering and easy assimilation for new residents. It’s an inclusive club that intends to connect parents of same-age group children and celebrate occasions like New Year, Independence Day, Pool parties, etc.

Greater Telugu Club

Focusing in bringing all Telugu speaking families together to promote and teach our kids our Telugu culture, history, and language. This club celebrates major Telugu festivals together.

 

Horizons of Hope Club

Please join us for our monthly HORIZONS OF HOPE (HOH) Support Group meeting with healthcare professionals who provide confidential medical and disability rehabilitation support and information services for all ages.

 

Jam Band Club

If you love rock & roll and play a musical instrument, this club is for you! Get together with fellow neighbors and bring your guitar, keyboards, drums, pedals etc. and jam with us!

 

Junior Guardians of GPN Club

Calling all GPN kids to join us to walk together while picking up trash to keep the community clean. This club aims to create an inclusive and engaging environment where kids of all ages can participate in cleaning our community.

 

Korean American Club

We offer the Great Park residents the chance to immerse themselves in Korean Culture through engaging discussions, fun social gatherings, and exciting events. Come join us as we celebrate the richness of Korean American experience!

 

Lap Swim Club

The GPN lap swim club is for homeowners and residents at GPN who use the Rise Olympic 50 meter Exercise lap pool and The Pools Competition 25 yard lap pool as part of their regular exercise program year round. The purpose of the club is to allow GPN homeowners and residents to meet regularly to coordinate workout times and schedules for lap swimming workouts.

Masala Club

Celebrating Indian Festivals and promote multi-cultural activities for all age groups. This club aims to host events that promotes a diversified community that is inclusive for every GPN resident.

 

Meditation & Yoga Club

The club aims to promote positive mental health, self-awareness through the practice of meditation and prevent sports injuries in conjunction with Boundless Fitness X Wellness.

On Hooks & Needles

Knitting and Crocheting is a wonderfully social activity and it is incredibly helpful to have a supportive community to learn and share this craft. This is a great opportunity to meet new people with similar interests in the community.

 

Pickleball Club

Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the US. The group is open to all GPN residents, both adults and kids. Pickleball holds benefits for hand-eye coordination, and research indicates it can improve movement and increase muscle strength.

 

Plant-Based Potluck Club

Join us each month for delicious food with new friends! Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or just hungry… you and your family are welcome to the feast! We cannot wait to see you there!

Poker Club

Inviting anyone that enjoys group event games with non-monetary value winnings. This club has tournament play available which allows anyone to play with all skill levels. There will be no minimum or maximum number of players needed.

 

Shabbat Club

Connecting Jewish families in the Great Park Neighborhoods. This club focuses on meeting around the Holidays. Learn about the different celebrations and events this club hosts throughout the year.

 

Table Tennis Club

Hone your skills and sharpen your game each week. The goal is to promote the sport of table tennis to GPN Residents. The club can accomplish this by creating a fun and casual space where anyone can feel at home.

 

Taiwanese Club

Creating an environment in which people of a common background or interest can form bonds, discuss issues related to the Taiwanese community and heritage, have fun!

 

Tapeball Cricket Community

Tapeball is often termed as the nursery for producing cricketers in Pakistan. We are incredibly proud of our history but are extremely committed to building the cricket community for the future. A great way to get back in to the game or for fans of cricket which will hopefully create a “Tapeball” following in Irvine. There is also a pathway for those who want to progress their skills further. This will raise the profile of the game in Irvine but act as a catalyst to greater levels of participation making it the most diversely played sport in California!

 

Tennis Club

The intent of this club is to connect GPN residents who share a passion for playing tennis. Find tennis partners within GPN to practice with at the Great Park tennis courts. Improve each others technique, play matches and discuss everything tennis!
